Autoline in Northern Ireland insure classics or older car wiht limited milage clauses, you shoukld have no problem if its a sedond policy, if you have a policy already it should be renewed ok, but very hard to get a new policy on an older car now

Liberty quoted me on mine, but it was a case that I had an existing policy with them

i'm in the exact same position,

my old banger is turning 20 next february, according to my broker whom i've been with for 6 years i'll be able to get "clasic insurance", ipso facto halving my insurance cost from 1200 to 600, i'll believe that when i see it :D

Its my daily driver so don't have another policy, the car has never failed a nct or let me down. Looking like I am going to have spend 5k on some heap which needs a clutch and flywheel every second year, egr valves, dpf's and electronic handbrakes fixed every year and that's if the oil pump last that long, the joys.

I have a 99 golf for many years and had a bit of hassle insuring it this year, the company I was with nearly doubled the amount I paid 12 months earlier so I went looking as I've owned it more than 5 years bank of ireland insurance gave me a quote with no age loading and another sizeable discount because I'm a customer of theirs so I'd try them if I was you. Ring them though rather than using the online quote facility.

I use first ireland who insure me with aig for classic car insurance. Car must be 15 years or older, You need to be 25 years or older and limited to 6k millage a year.
Only and daily driver, but they wont allow all makes and models so all you can do is ring them and find out for sure.
