Asthma and me

At the age of six years old, I was diagnosed with Asthma. I took 2 attacks and my asthma was very mild otherwise and havent had an attack since.

Been on Ventolin ever since and occasionally Flixotide the odd time during my teens. Ive played Soccer all my life and have ran the odd marathon, keeping my self in fairly good knick.

Now 32, I have gone back again to Soccer in pre season and while its usually fairly tough anyway after a month or two lay off but after the first or second session im usually fine.

But Im four weeks in and seem to be getting wheezier by the session. I usually take a blast of Ventolin before and after training/matches, and this usually sorts me out, but Im constantly getting wheezy and using my inhaler once after every drill. Last night I was wheezy and found it hard to breath after 5 minutes.

Ive booked in with a GP visit on Friday, but I thought Id share to see if anyone on here had any advice or insight as to why I seem to be getting wheezier and wheezier each time.
