    I have an 18th coming up and I'll be 17 when its on, would I get served without ID at a pub?

    Ya for sure . They may not sell you alcohol but they will serve you.

    My eldest turned 18 last month, on the day of his birthday I sent him off to get me a few cans, with passport in hand.

    Apparently the guy serving him looked at the passport and then his own watch then back to the passport at least 10 times before giving the go ahead to purchase.:D
