And now has a long string of it sticking out its arse!
Should I pull it or hope that nature takes its course soon???

put on some gloves and pull it out..slowly if the cat lets you.If she doesn't, she'll take care of it herself

I would not pull it out , either let it go naturally , or you could use a scissors to trim what has already come out.

Don't pull it out; you don't know how long it is or what it might have tangled around inside. Watch the cat for signs of obstruction. Know your vet's night number, just in case. I had a cat do this once because it tried to eat a very long grass stem and couldn't back it out through its mouth. My vet said it happens sometimes.

    Thanks for the replies.
Think I'll leave it be for a while.
