24 3/4in. blued nitro barrel signed 'W.J. JEFFERY & CO. LONDON, ENGLAND', block-mounted bead fore-sight with hinged tunnel cover, block-mounted rear-sight with one standing and one folding leaf each with gold-inlaid centre-line and calibrated to 200 yards, blued receiver fitted with a Nikko Stirling 'Diamond' 1.5-6x44 telescopic sight in Griffin & Howe quick detachable side-mount, 14 3/8in. well figured pistolgrip stock, raised cheek-piece, chequered grip and fore-end, blued mounts, silver escutcheon.
THIS IS A REAL LONDON MADE RIFLE IN THE TRUE TRADITION OF THE LOOK OF AN AFRICAN PLAINS GAME RIFLE AND WHEN MADE THEY STARTED AT £6000 FOR THE BASIC MODEL.
IT IS PERFECT WITH EXCELLENT TIMBER, ONLY SELLING IT BECAUSE IM AFRAID TO BRING IT OUT !!
