Does anyone living and working in the UK still use their Irish UB account as their main account? Is that something that can feasibly be done?

It's *possible*, but you'll be paying hefty fees for using your debit card, and ATM withdrawals outside the RBS group. Employers, government depts may not be able/willing to make payments into it. You'll have no branch access either.

It would be easier to set up a local account, or open up an Ulster Bank NI account.
