Cat Adoption Fees & Rescues in Galway

Hi guys, thanks for looking :)

We've decided to adopt a pair of kittens, and was wondering what others' experiences with the <snip> or cat rescues in Galway have been. I sent them a message to their Facebook page asking about adoption fees, and about the procedure. I got a reply with a phone number to ring for more info, but I can't seem to get through to them.

Does anyone know the fee for adopting a pair of kittens? The message said that the fee includes deworming, vaccinations, microchipping and spaying, but they didn't tell me how much it would be.

Also, are <snip> friendly to deal with? Many years ago we adopted a kitty from our then local rescue and the people were very condescending and rude, and sent the weirdest man they had available to do a house check which I wasn't too thrilled about! I ended up with the loveliest cat (RIP) but the whole process was stressful. It all would've been so much better if anyone had been friendly and I didn't have to have a strange man come looking through my whole house :/

Or can anyone recommend any other rescues? I've only found a couple online, but I know there are probably loads :)

    Thanks for the help!

I've dealt with both those rescues, <snip> were very helpful and kind to me when I was helping a friend with a stray cat, we have a dog from <snip>, they were fine to deal with, I think they just get bombarded with calls and the dregs of society and cruelty cases so I wouldn't take it personally if they don't get back to you or are hard to get through to, persevere with both, there are so many poor kitties needing homes 😞

    Folks,
I must remind you that you can't discuss nor link to individual rescues in this forum... It was discussions about how various rescue were run that resulted in this embargo in the first place some years ago.
Please keep any discussion of individual rescues to pm.
    Thanks,
    DBB
