Sorry lads and ladies , i am just wondering , i am thinking of purchasing the new gtx 1060 tomorrow , i am currently running a 1920x1080 monitor and i don't plan on changing that anytime soon. So i am wondering is there any point in me going for the 6gb version of the 1060 or would the 3gb do or is it a waste of time and i should pay extra ?
Thanks for the help in advance !

3Gb version is fine; €50 for an extra 1-2fps at 1080p ain't worth it IMHO.

Thanks ! i am just afraid with the newer games coming out the vram is going to ruin my performance with the 3gb.

Your monitor will certainly ruin the quality!

It will be fine. GTX1060 is overkill for that resolution anyway.

    I wouldn't say overkill; it's just right.
