    Hi,

    1998 Nissan Micra.

Does anyone have an idea as to why it won't start when the clutch is pressed?
    Otherwise it will start ok.

    Thanks

That doesn't make sense. Clutch has no bearing on start system.

Try starting in neutral, with clutch pressed and not pressed.

Is there a noise at all?
Does the engine crank but not fire up?

Really? I thought with clutch pressed it lessens the load on the starter motor?

Hmmm will check with neutral and clutch pressed and revert back.
