Hiking the Pyrenees in September/Early October

Hi folks. Me and my OH are trying to get away for a week in the next 4-6 weeks. We would love to do a 6-7 day hike in the Pyrenees. Nothing too strenuous...Maybe 15-20k daily along not so difficult terrain. She has no experience of trekking but is a reasonably fit nature-lover. Ideally we would be happy to stay in refuges or the odd guesthouse in a small village. Would any of ye good folk have any recommendations as regards hikes, places to stay and essentials to bring. Thanks in advance!

Someone like Sherpa http://www.sherpaexpeditions.com/ would have self-guided trips in the Pyrenees where they book accommodation & transport your bags.

If you'd prefer to do it on your own, their website would at least give you some ideas.
