National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) - Level 8

    Can anyone tell me the difference in "Level 8" and "Special Purpose Level 8" qualifications on the NFQ ?

    I know Level 8 is for Honours Degrees and Higher Diplomas, but Special Purpose Level 8 ??? What's this for? And then is it regarded as the same as Level 8 ???
