    Got an 02 audi a4 tdi that has a big coolant leak and its empty just after 15 minutes, water and timing belt was replaced 20k miles ago

    Sounds like the rad or a coolant hose split to me. Fill it up run engine for a few mins to warm up. Put a large sheet of cardboard under the engine bay that'll give you an idea of the location at least. My money's on a split hose. Best of luck

    There is a coolant hose that goes from the back of the engine, around the rocker cover & to the large coolant pipe. It can split easily as oil from the vacuum pump can leak onto it and rot it.
