Style this dress for me?

I'm going to be wearing a dress very similar to this one, except it's in navy blue silk, to a wedding next month. Pretty sure I'll wear nude heels with it (I've nothing else that'll go with and loathe to spend more). I have dark brown bobbed hair with a short fringe; thinking I'll wear it up and try to rock an Audrey Heburn style.

I would love your suggestions on how to style the dress in terms of makeup and accessories. Thx!

Love the sound of the Hepburn do.
I'd keep accessories to a minimum, maybe stud earrings, as there's a lot of detail in the frill.
I'd also wear dark shoes and a bold red lip.

Pearl earrings and bracelet? Should pop against the navy.

Thank you for the replies! I like the idea of pearl stud earrings, can defo see that working and cheap to buy. I'd also been considering a bold red lip, so glad to see you feel the same way.

Re shoes - I have black strappy sandals with a mid-heel which I was considering rather than the nude heels. Do you think a dark quite-open mid-heel sandal would work better than nude closed-toe?

I'm on a budget so don't think I can afford to buy new shoes, and I don't have any black closed toe shoes that are glam enough (I don't want to look too frumpy, given the high neck and fussy ruffles).

I think I'd go with the nude shoes, to brighten it up a bit. Black shoes would make the whole fairly dark I think?

Totally agree with the pearl earrings and red lips by the way, sounds really chic :)
