Changing Flight Dates Ryanair

Hi. My friend and I have flights booked with Ryanair for the middle of September, accommodation also booked. It looks like we may have to change our flight dates to a week later as my friend's relative has become very ill very quickly. I did check the site and it did say that flight dates can be changed up to four hours before you are due to fly. Does anyone know how much extra we might have to pay as a result of changing the dates. I clicked on 'table of fees' on their site but the page was down. If anyone has experience with this I would be very grateful.

    €60 each way

    Thanks. Is that per person?

For anyone else in the same predicament, I rang Ryanair and it costs 40 euro per person if done online and 60 euro per person if done over the phone.

Is it 40 euro each way or both ways? Also does it apply when you change dates and destination or only dates?

That's the change fee, you are also liable for the fare difference. It's applicable for any change of flight

I recently changed the outward journey of an upcoming flight by a day, it cost 30 euro.

It's 40 euro each way for the flight change, so 80 euro per person return. I'm not sure about changing routes. In relation to the price of the fare change that won't apply to us as the cost of our original flight would be more expensive than the off season date we'd be changing to.

Did you change the date online? Unless their prices went up, hard to say.....I found the person on the phone was less helpful than their Web live chat.

I checked the price of the flight first online. It happened to be cheaper on the new date but when I went in online to change it the price remained the same as the existing one! The total cost of the change was 30 euro.

Thanks for that.Yeah the man said I would have to pay extra if on the date of the departure the new flight was more expensive. Unlikely as we'd be leaving off season.

They have themselves well covered, that's for sure. Fair play to them I suppose.
