Well, what does people think of the new look menu?

    Looks like Sky Q's one

It's on the box upstairs since last week & just waiting for the one downstairs to change over!!

I neither like or dislike it, visually. What has my head melted is that they've messed up some of the core functionality, and basics like series link and search are not working correctly at the moment.

These are deal breaker issues, series link is scheduling 3 recordings on a Sky + box, which it can't do, and I'm seeing a number of strange things happening with both series link, and search, and we've just had a recording fail with a clash an hour into the programme, with nothing else scheduled, which is VERY annoying.

My worry is that all the planning and development effort is now going into the Q series, and that the Plus box is now effectively a dead product, which will not get improved or enhanced going forward, for sure this latest upgrade is not impressive.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

I never took any notice of the change...what's meant to be different?

Not everyone has the software update yet. The change to the layout of the home page is the most obvious change, there's also a Netflix like continue watching feature, some other changes to the Planner, and a reorganisation of the settings screens (that seemingly has led to complaints from Irish users that there are now more button presses to get to Add Channels).

You can force the update if you want it, just turn your sky box off at the mains and hold down the back up button on the sky box while turning back on the main power, only release the back up button when the 4 lights on the front of the box have come on and the message regarding updating software appears on screen.
