Do the dealerships have any policy on usage of chargers?

Not that I'm aware of anyway.

Just curious - as had seen a thread on a UK EV forum whereby Nissan dealers have been implementing fair usage of 3 rapid charges / week.

I'm using the local dealership as work still have not activated their own chargers (and of course, it's free at Nissan).

Oh no, there's no such restrictions here at Nissan dealers, that I'm sure of.

I believe what they said is happening in the UK is that the 3 per week policy was always there but only being enforced in some dealerships now due to Ecotricity starting to charge for charging as more people are turning to the free Nissan ones.

Maybe the same is here just that the dealers arent enforcing it either as the number of EV's is tiny.

I presume the Nissan dealers here are privately owned as well and have the right to enforce whatever rules they like on their own chargers (just that they havent yet)?

Yes, that's the info I'd come across. Just wondering if the local dealership will start getting p_ssed off with my 15 minute top up Mon-Fri.

I highly doubt it, Barlo Nissan in Kilkenny gets a lot of usage and they don't complain. It's even accessible 24x7, some dealers have them out back and and inaccessible after hours.

How do you access it after hours? The front 'gates' are always closed.

The unit is positioned intensionally to allow you to charge from outside their gate after hours
