Advice on Graphics card update

The case is a CiT Templar, which retails for ~€35.

As such, even though the PSU (power supply) claims it's 500W, I wouldn't even dare to load it to half that.

If you want to only upgrade the graphics card, stick an AMD RX 460 into it.

Any further, and you would need to upgrade the PSU as well (cheapest good unit I've read recommended is the XFX TS 430W).

Depends on your budget, monitor resolution, and what games you play :)

Right now, the 1920x1080 (1080p) sweet spots are:
    RX 470 4GB (high)
    GTX 1060 6GB (very high)
    GTX 1070 (ultra)

My motherboard wouldn't be comptabile with those grahpics cards though would it?

Your motherboard has a PCI Express x16 slot, which works with any modern graphics card.
AFAIK the max GPU length it can install is 330mm.

The CPU is pretty good too.
