    Hi all,

I need to get a couple of pairs of black leggings that are of thick-ish material and that are not see through and don't fade too much in the wash.

I've some from H&M that are a thick-ish type of material and aren't see through but I haven't seen them there in store the past few times I was in.

I know of jeggings but I don't want those, I want leggings.

Would appreciate any help with this at all, thanks so much.

I bought leggings in Marks and Spencer's recently and they are quite thick but not too thick.
They haven't faded this far and are black black and cost 13.

I'm looking for some too. Found heavy ones in river island but were too tight in waist. Definitely weren't see through.
Bought some in Dorothy Perkins that weren't see through last year. I found the elastic in waist go very loose after a couple of washes.

I actually found some in next. I think they were about E25.

I have a couple of them for nearly 2 years now, and they still aren't see through. I'm surprised myself as they get lots of use and are regularly washed.
They haven't faded at all. An added bonus is that they also appear to suck in the fat a little!

Thanks so much everyone. I'll check out your suggestions. I appreciate your help.

I also bought some from Dorothy Perkins, and honestly, they were bad quality.

I've had ASOS, Penneys, Dunnes Stores, Vila and New Look too, all were see through and went baggy everywhere (was worse at the backs of the knees!).

Hopefully I'll get lucky with the stores recommended here :)

I have a pair of extra thick leggings that I got in Next. They were about €25 which is expensive enough for leggings but worth it to know your backside isnt showing.
