Media Studies joint honours

    Really wanted to get communications but i didn't get the points, so i'm doing the media studies course in DCU instead as part of a joint honours. Is the course any good? Is it really different from communications? And is there anyway whatsoever that i can transfer into communications seeing as there are some common modules
