I am going into 5th year and in the process of choosing my leaving cert subjects. I am not keen on doing anything science based but i have heard that some colleges won't accept people on arts courses without a science LC subject. Could anyone tell me if not having a science subject will cause me problems in applying for Arts based courses in any of the major colleges in Dublin or Maynooth? Thank you for your help!

You don't need a science subject to do arts but unless you are 100% sure you won't want to do any science or nursing courses id recommend doing one science subject. If you are 100% sure you want to do something arts related you dont need a science subject. You can also go onto qualifax and check the points and minimum entry requirements for every course in Ireland.
