Hi we are a mixed age group 50s - 30s looking for a few nice pubs in city centre on Saturday night.
We won't be out that late as we have an early start so where would you recommend for 2 or 3 pubs near each other . We would be out 7- 11 approx
Should we stay clear or Temple Bar ?
We will be getting the green line Luas after.
    Thanks in advance

What sort of music (if any) are you looking for?.. Plus are you looking for craft beers or your regular 'Carlsberg, Heineken, Bulmers & Guinness'?.

Davy Byrnes, Duke St. or Sinnotts on South King St. I would stay away from Temple Bar. Loads of pubs around the Grafton St area. Handy for Luas line.

    thanks for those.
Yes will be looking for the more regular stuff Guiness and butlers etc.
I think we will avoid Temple bar.
Not too worried about music either but ok if it there

Damn Tavern, Stags Head, Foggy Dew....all close enough to each other around the Dame St area.

The Duke, Kehoe's, McDaids, Bruxelles and Sheehans are all close and just off Grafton St.

    All great recommendations here.
I'd add in Doheney & Nesbitts on Merrion Row too.

Definitely stay clear of Temple Bar

The Lord Edward -> The Library Bar -> The Long Hall -> Peters Pub -> Luas :)
