Smart TV not picking up RTE 1

    Hi lads, I'm asking on behalf of my mother, their Samsung smart TV has gon from RTE one being pixilated to not picking it up at all. Anyone here have an idea how what the problem is and how to fix it?

    Insufficient signal for the frequency carrying RTE 1, what kind of aerial setup is attached to the TV.

    The problem could be a number of issues, assuming the correct aerial is installed, it could be misaligned, corroded aerial connections due to water ingress, cable damaged due to water ingress or other fault.

    Is there a single run of cable between the aerial and TV point without any splits or amp?

    Can you post a pic or a link to an aerial similar to the one on the roof?
