    I'm not aware of a general careers guidance service (but there may well be one), but I did consult the careers service of the college I went to several times. If you went to college, you might be able to avail of their services even if you've graduated.

    i ended up going to a woman called Linda Doody in Milltown, she spent 1 and half hours going through personality tests and went through careers which best suited me, she explained everything amazingly! was very pleasant and everything she said set well with me :)
