    I agree that amazon.com prime is useless but amazon.co.uk offer this same deal.

    When using amazon.co.uk the following services belong to prime work in Ireland, without any special vans etc.
    - prime music (like spotify/Google play)
    - kindle lending library
    - cloud drive, unlimited photo storage + 20gb for other files.

    if you use cloud drive to backup massive amounts of photos the whole deal is very good value, I've 400gb backed up to it for example. It's better value then Dropbox!

    You can also use one day delivery to parcelmotel which can be very useful,

    Maybe the point about it being useless is that the colleges here don't use edu addresses?

    Even on the UK site, the T&Cs say this offer only applies to UK students.

    Yeah, you either need a .edu email address for the USA version, or a .ac.uk address for the UK one.

    And the benefits of Prime for Irish people are pretty rubbish, tbh.

    Products are often cheaper for Prime members, I bought a camcorder €70 cheaper as a Prime member last month
