    Looking at:
    siemens
    honeywell
    fibaro

House is wired but I am looking for something thats a bit better than the basic stuff I see most people seem to be selling. I want to a cheap to run solution but something I can turn on and monitor remotely. I think Fibaro is something that is more what I am interested in like if the fire alarm goes off I want all the lights to turn on or flash if the alarm is going off etc. What options do I have. I don't mind doing a self install and can forgo the insurance discount.

    Mod note.

Ok so we have a recommendation, and an assumption by two posters as to who the recommendation is for, with a for and an against from two posters, both of who are assuming they are talking about the same installer.

I've removed the posts from the public forum. PMs can be sent to the OP if a poster wants to add to the installer advice.

    Thank you
