Canny Tom was very well fancied LTO in Tipperary where he fell at the 2nd. Avaliable at 10/3 with WH having opened up 9/2 with Bet365, I expect this one to go off alot shorter. Only a bare 3/1 on betfair atm. He runs in the 5.20 Bellewstown

Like a prayer in the first is seeing a lot of cash. Still available at 40-1 on bet 365. 11-1 PP and Betfair and shortening in other firms as well. Might be worth a sneaky few euros ew.

Ok Going to start posting a few more fancies again. It definatley helps me form my thoughts a bit better and keeps me honest. Hopefully if a few more do too we might breath a bit of life back into this place. Sometimes it dosn't deserve it but its still the best of the racing forums around for ease of use and knowledgable posters imo.

Anyway a few I fancy tomorrow.

3 00 Musselburgh Nelson's bay. Course winner over 1m off marks of 62 and 58. Runs off 51 tomorrow. Dropped a few pounds for last 3 runs when he has been running reasonably ok. 8/1 in this 8 runner race looks reasonable and I have had 1 pt win. (9s with betfair sportsbook if you can get on).

4 00 Musselburgh. Mount Ras looks well in down to a mark of 86. Multiple distance winner off higher marks up to 98. I think the 14s available is really generous and have had 2 pts win.

4 45 Leicester. Generalyse won this race 2 years ago off 70. Runs off 60 tomorrow. Won 4 runs ago and in June over C and D off 57. The 7lb claimer from that day back on board and 16/1 looks generous 1 pt win.

    .25 trixie for the miricale.

Didn't like much at Tipperary really but haven't looked at the handicap yet. Nothing stuck out in the maidens for me or the Listed sprint where loads look like they have a chance.

in the 5.40 Now Or Never doesn't look particularly progressive at this stage and although she handles cut she may not want it this testing as her best two runs have been on better ground. She also hasn't been seen for nearly 70 days so there are a few reasons to take her on. Creggs Pipes on the other hand loves this sort of ground and is improving fast so looks a good option to take on the favourite. Tanaza will want quicker ground and Lina De Vega needs to take a big step forward on her 2nd start to get involved and her maiden is not working out as expected.

Backing another at Leicester in the first. Sidewinder hasn't really improved at all run to run really and looks an awful price at 13/8. It isn't a deep maiden though so I can see why he is the fav and the next two are first time out for yards not known for debutante winners. Charlie Rascal is of interest because of the trainer on his 2nd start but I didn't like how tamely he finished his race last time when well placed near the front off a slow gallop. Claire's Secret is the most interesting for the McBride stable who do well with these types. She made a bad start on her debut going right but showed promise finishing 7th that day. She shaped as if the step up in trip should suit as her pedigree suggests and 15/2 looks big in a poor maiden where I really want to take on the top 3 in the betting.

Very decent NH card at Bellewstown today for this time of year.

    5.20 Konig Hall 15/2
    5.50 You can't catch me 16/1
    6.50 Garri Rua 11/1 & Crosshue Boy 16/1

    Good luck.

I have no idea about horse betting but I did all of these horses except Crosshue Boy in an each way lucky 63. If they all win I will be bringing you lads out for a very good night out!

So it proved to be. Thought he was going well into the straight and did touch 15/8 in running. We go again!

A small e/w bet on the old boy Duroob in the last at Sedgefield. This has always put in respectable performances when sent over to the UK, and I think the step up in trip will stand to this dour stayer (if there was a 4m 4f race, this would be a cert!). 18/1, only worth taking on e/w. Expect to see if off the bridle early on!
