someone is harrassing a friend of mine with very crude and nasty alligations and threats through facebook chat. We want to find there ip address and see who it is or why. Can anyone please help me in this matter.

This is not the place to discuss this. if your friend is receiving abuse then report it to the relevant hosts (in this case facebook).
