    Hi.

My mam has a year old Ford B-max with the power shift gear box on a 1.6 petrol engine.

It has started to run really rough with no power and won't idle properly . It is an intermittent problem but is getting worse. Seems to drop the revs when idling and is slow picking up when pulling away. Yellow engine light came on last week but keeps going out.

She had it back to Ford who originally blamed a loose negative cable on the battery. This obviously wasn't the issue.
Took it back a second time and the engine light went out before they could hook up the diagnostics and they said they couldn't do anything as no codes were logged and every thing came back normal.
Third time back in she made sure warning light was on and refused to turn off the engine until they ran diagnostics. It came back with code P0202 which as far as iIcan determine relates to the injectors in cylinder 2. Either a broken cable or faulty injector.
Ford however are going to change the battery and keep on about dropping voltages and possibly a software update

Anyone have any experience with either the car, symptoms or the error code. I feel they are just fobbing mam off as they are very busy and seem to have few mechanics .

    Many thanks
