Hello I am an Irish student studying abroad but I would like to get a job while I am in ireland during the christmas period(2 weeks) and summer (2.5 months) what sort of job would suit someone with a very limited time ? ive tried babysitting but thats not cutting it at this stage and as I am in a medical course I was contemplating caring but I don't know how feasible that is? looking forward to any advise given!

You won't get caregiving work - there's no way you could get garda vetting quickly enough. (And maybe you can't even get it at all, depending on how long you've been out of the country for.)

Over Christmas, your best chance is a shop or similar owned by a friend of the family - but even that will be pushing it, training your for two weeks work won't cut it for most employers.

Christmas temps are hired from September in a lot of shops.

Retail is busy in the months before Christmas, not just the 2 weeks before.

Agreed. But the OP will still be overseas until ...
while I am in ireland during the christmas period(2 weeks)
