Just got the Imagine LTE BB installed. Tried to go into the router settings but the usual URL for routers is not correct. The router is a WVRTR-126GN. I want to connect it via the LAN to my own wireless router so need details.

Take a look in the Imagine Thread - this has been answered in there.

It may well be in that thread but it's 50 pages long and it could take quite a while to find the answer to my specific question. But thanks for the pointer, if I get time, I'll start reading through it if there is no luck here

Indeed, but that refers to the default password for a Huawei box, but the OP seems to have a Gemtek unit, so the default (even if Imagine didn't change it) is likely different.

However, to the best of my knowledge, Imagine will *not* give you access to their device. They also do not at this time have a proper bridging solution available (although they say they're working on it). Apparently they did not anticipate a need for it as they are/were pitching this squarely as a plug and play residential setup.

What they will do as a reasonable compromise is to add your router to the DMZ on their box and turn off their WiFi. This does still entail an additional layer of NAT, but it works and will allow you to keep your own router and wireless settings.

This is how it's set up for me, YMMV.

For a nearly 13 year boardsie, have you never used the search function?

df_h setup his own wireless router here and more info here.

It might not be exactly what you are looking for, but it might point you in the right direction.
