Gas boiler installer

Hello, am in south dublin near the city. Am getting in a combi gas boiler to replace old solid fuel back boiler.

Have all new rads so job would be to--

1..route the gas supply to the boiler.
2..link into radiator circuit at old old back boiler or hot-press.
3.. supply hot supply to kitchen hot water tap.
    4..Timer thermostat.

    Some info on house.

I managed to get an even spread of heat in house by balancing (opening/closing) rad valves a little over time till I got the house warmed evenly.

I wondered if wireless theramostat would be better for me as in the future it could be moved to upper floor of house if I found it not as useful in downstairs sitting room. Spend most of time upstairs in our house. The heating could be biased toward upper house with those rad getting more flow over lower ones and thermostat responding to this area.

Water pressure is strong to very strong. Don't have numbers on it but it's rarely trips the relay in the electric shower to turn off heater except when toilet flushed.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, please p.m. me (as per board rules as posts in open forum will be edited to remove names).

    1... any installer recommendations.
2...good combi boiler with regards parts and repair. Am keen on a Worcester Bosch combi.

    Thanks.

I would appreciate recommendations too. We're looking to get gas boiler replaced and zoned heating controls installed (currently no separate controller) so that hot water can be heated separately.

    Please help.
My Veissmann boiler is on its last legs, what is the best way to get a new boiler?

I am not too happy with my previous installer. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Is the boiler needing to be replaced or serviced?
Is the electric control the problem?
    Is Veissmann the best boiler?
How do I get an installer?
How do I start a new thread in Boards.ie?
If I do not have permission to start one, why?

    Dtp1979,
    Thanks again.
As I am not sure how to submit threads, I sent in two posts.
My Veissmann boiler was put in in 2009.

hi, I would be looking for a similar job, also heating controls upgrade, TRVs, zoned etc. Anyone has a recommendation for a good trusted installer that is RGII registered (intend to apply for grant as well as HRI) in North Dublin?

Thanks for all advice. I am getting the original installer GasSafe (2009) to sort out my problems.

I Looked through lot of old threads and posts and found roy rodgers.

His knowledge and attitude to poor poor suggested he was a good man to chat too. I was very happy with his ideas. His team done the gas install, putting boiler in attic and it works fine.

Very neat and professional finish to the work all around.

He's based in Dublin or was when my job was done. I'm not a pal or anything. Just a heads to for very professionally finished job.
