Anyone know what would be the cause of this? I don't have the time today to take a trip to my SW office so will have to wait, but this happened when I went to collect a payment. This is a week after being with my case officer who agreed with my path (Currently doing an online course) so nothing really has changed or told I was being cut off

You've more important things to do than find out why you haven't been paid? Honestly op just think how that is going to sound to sw.

Yes my mother is extremely ill at the moment and needs looking after. I can't get anyone else out to the house today to look after her while I go for a few hours. Tomorrow is the earliest I can go.

Oh sorry I see, just make sure to get that across because they will wonder why you didn't come into them straight away. It has happened to me before!!

Yeah it should be fine, but do you know what reason it could have been? a technical error or something?

If you've been collecting money before perfectly fine it must be an error. If they'd stopped it the post office would just show a zero balance not that your pps didn't exist so I'd agree with a technical error.
Be aware they probably will try to fob you off with a double payment next week if you can't afford that be ready to ask for a cheque or to wait to see the swa.

Get a Public Services Card , it would sort the problem.

That's what I have been using... But it's all sorted now anyway.
