Bit of a background.....I was married for 8 years and have been seperated since February 2016. I have extremem highs and extremem lows like normal I would imagine. He makes a good salary but isn't great at managing money so he can only pay a small portion for maintenance (for which I am greatful). I work part time and will be applying for FIS next month. Kids are with me for 4 days a week currently but will be increasing to 5 days next month. Money is tight and I am not very happy in my job either. I won't leave as that is silly as I need some stability.

So my question..... is there any seperation support provided. I have been to councelling but didn't really see that it helped. I don't feel depressed but head aches have been increasing due to stress and I feel that my patience is very thin.

Trying to take up a hobby but that costs money too. I was hoping to find people in the same situation to talk to.

    Thanks

There are lots of online support groups available, some on favebook. Local running clubs are always an option, they're not expensive and excercise is a great way to clear your mind of negative thoughts and feelings. I have been in your position, you need to apply for FIS immediately and you will get backdated if applicable. I can assure you things do get better, take time for yourself.. Running was my tonic and I made good friends along the way who have supported me in the last two and half years.. If you need to chat pm me anytime as I know how overwhelming it all is at the beginning. Good luck
