Hey guys, I am loving anime right now and it will probably stay like that forever XD
Right now I'm looking for a new series to watch. I would prefer not to watch a long running series like one of the Shonen titans, so preferably something underneath 100 episodes.
Here is a list of the ones I've watched and how I've ranked them. Please note, I do enjoy all these anime and my personal ranking isn't the will of all, so I understand if you disagree with it XD

    1. Steins Gate
    2. Durarara (Season 1 and 2)
    3. Assassination Classroom (Season 1 and 2)
    4. Code Geass (Lelouch of the Rebellion 1 and R2)
    5. Baccano
    6. Cowboy Bebop
    7. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
    8. Persona 4: The Animation
    9. Death Parade
    10. Samurai Champloo
    11. Soul Eater
    12/13. Angel Beats
    12/13. The Devil is a Part-Timer
    14. Death Note*
    15. Sword Art Online (1 and 2)
    16. Attack On Titan (Season 1)
    17. Fullmetal Alchemist

So I'll take any suggestions :3 Thanks and I hope it made some decent reading material XD

    *One thing I want to sorta make clear, if I were breaking it down by season, the first half of Death Note would be easily in the top 10, possibly top 5, but I just really didn't enjoy the 2nd half as much, sorry ;-;

Considering the anime You watched I would say you might also like "Kekkai Sensen". And out of a new ones I would definitely recommend "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" for it's pure awesomeness. If You like it then a similarily beautiful but bit older animation would be "Samurai 7" the anime. If you are looking for something more comedy like and light-hearted I also recommend "Space Dandy" - for some reason many 'newly introduced to anime' people I kow like that show. Basically it's a comedy in Sci-fi setting (wait a sec.... Gintama is as well now that I think about it XD)

Same time I would double all Sephiroth's recommendations!

Awesome, thanks very much guys, at least I now have a good few more things to go on now XD I feel that my list is a little short on Mecha ones (Even with the fact that Code Geass Manga had no mecha) so I'd be interested in watching more mecha.

Samurai 7 anime haves some awesome Mecha ;)

Other than this I recommend classics in form of Macross and Gundam series (never seen whole Gundam franchise though >_<).

If I were to note: Macross haves often AMAZING soundtracks. Least as long as you like Japanese songs ;)

Not as long as Gundam or Macross franchises but EXTREMELY nice would be an old proposition of "The Vision of Escaflowne". It's best steampunk mecha story ever and it haves also incredible OST (seriously Mecha anime have good ost more often :P)

Awesome, I'll give those a watch. Thanks very much for the suggestions! Usually when I ask for suggestions, I get shunned for it because of the lack of anime or quality I watch....and I watch Dub so there's that too, so thanks for being cool about it :P

Based on your list I'd say check out Mirai Nikki and Outlaw Star

    ah, my specialist subject!

I hightly recommend trying out Gundam 08th MS Team and 0080 War in the Pocket for starters, they're both very short and very good.

After checking those out consider trying Blue Gender, Full Metal Panic and Martian Successor Nadesico

I was very tempted to watch a Gundam series, but I have no idea where would be a good place to start XD I remember watching Outlaw Star on Toonami and remember how kick ass the opening was XD

Best place to start would be Iron Blooded Orphans, which is the latest series.

Its 25 episodes long and is in an alternate timeline so you don't have to worry about continuity. Season 2 begins next month

Its available for free on Crunchyroll, YouTube(legally on the gundam.info channel) and http://www.daisuki.net
