Junkets mostly. Dublin is twinned with Barcelona, Liverpool and San something or other in California (Silicon Valley but can't think of name right now). All under pretence of creating a shared culture and jobs but not sure of any statistical reality. There are some funnytimes comments on that site/page e.g.

i). Is finglas not already twinned with fallujah?
ii). North Korea could help Finglas out with its stray dog problem.
iii). Finglas can be a ronery place.
