    From the Holts website:

Simply spray into the air intake for a few seconds, and Bradex will help your car to start. The spray enters the combustion chamber and makes the fuel/air mixture more combustible, which makes the engine fire more quickly. It also contains lubricating oil to protect the engine and prevent wear.

Bradex Easy Start is the simple way to avoid those nightmare situations where you’re stuck with a car that won’t start. Whether it’s a stressful morning or you’re trying to get home, it’s a frustration you can do without.

By keeping a can in your car you have peace of mind that cold or wet weather won’t leave you stranded.

Bradex Easy Start is suitable for all engines including
    Cars
    Vans
    Motorbikes
    Lorries
    Lawnmowers
    Tractors and agricultural machinery
    Generators and industrial machinery

I've recently bought a motorbike that supposedly hasn't been ran for 6 years. I know I'm gonna have to give it a thorough carburetor cleaning but am gonna give this stuff a go first

That spray is good for a one off start, but repeated use is bad for an engine

I've heard it referred to as Start Ya Bastard - could even be brand name?

Didn't know it was potentially harmful to engine.

There is a carb cleaner spray too, but I'd say you might well have to strip and clean the carbs. Why take the risk of damaging the engine?

Don't use easy start in a diesel the compression is so high you can bend the con rods and crush the main bearings.
