ford county tractor

    Just wondering are all the ford county tractors that were out years ago constant 4wd?or had some of them a lever to select 2wd to 4wd i remember them working in the forestries when I was a kid.

    All the equal wheelers are constant four wheel drive.

    It's possible to disconect the two shafts each side. Contractor near here used to do it in the summer for silage, then put them back on after silage season was over. AFAIK it gave a slightly better :o lock for turning, they used it for drawing in.

    I really think you'd be better off buying a restored one, you wouldn't feel 10k slipping through your fingers.

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    No a neighbour of mine bought think it's a 974 needs to be restored
