    I was wondering if anyone has hired a campervan in Europe - if so, could you recommend a company to hire from?

    I'm completely open, I was going to base the decision on where to go on where I could hire a small camper for a reasonable price. Having said that I'd quite like to do to Portugal or Croatia.

    Quick update. A friend kindly lent us their campervan so we are off to France in September.

    I will, I'm getting very excited now. I've ordered the aire guide so hopefully it will arrive in time.

    Do people have any advice about breakdown cover for France?
