    Hi all,

    Can someone give me a ball park figure for the Church/Celebrant Donation.

    Getting marries in less than 2 weeks and need to know what we should be giving church/celebrant on the day.

    We gave €200 to the priest. He wasn't from our parish, the parish priest had a prior engagement on that day so couldn't do it. We were told by the parish priest that there was no need for a donation to use the church. There were also donations for the sacrastin (€50 I think) and altar boys (€20 each I think). From talking to people in my home area they seemed to be average figures but that is a rural enough parish so I'm not sure if it'd be different in other areas.
