My boyfriend forgot to sign on last Tuesday, it been a few days since then. Would that be a problem? Will they cut off our payments?

Ring them it might be ok. It happened to my wife also and she rung them and was ok but she was warned it won't be allowed happen again.

I forgot to sign on once. I was late by a day. They stopped my payment for 3 days because of it. Go into the social welfare office first thing in the morning.

How can you forget to go in?

I forgot once, i was on BTEA which switches to JSA for the summer, i wasn't used to signing on and genuinely forgot until that evening. I went in at 9am the next morning and got a bit of a telling off but they were understanding about it. Wasn't docked money or anything. He should go in, in person, ASAP, and apologise.

You were lucky. I should have clarified, I wasn't cut any money, they just delayed it by 3 days.

Not an excuse but for some reason I thought my signing day was once per calendar month. Turns out it's every 4 weeks. Normally they send a text to remind you but didn't that month.
