Hi, I just get my provisional license, and I'm about to buy my first car, but I heard that there's a new law or rule about not being able to get insured on a car older then 10 years? Is this true? thanks for any information you can give me

It's not a law, most insurers are using 10/12/14 years old as a cut off point, try using a broker, get quotes before you buy.
