    Stolen from Reddit. This is great value for anyone who uses Usenet, a 1TB block for 15 quid with the code below. Perfect for a backup server.

    @Bulknews: BLOCK1000GB €60,- Now ONLY: €15! Promo: rio16 - till 23 august 16(CET) Free 10GB trial http://www.bulknews.eu

    I won't be answering any questions about Usenet because of rule one of Usenet.....

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

    Very good deal!

    For the heavier user, you could consider an unlimited host. Got one myself from newshosting.com (one of the biggest in the world) for €90 for the year incl VPN

    Yeah this is more for a backup block. I've gotten about 2 yrs out of my last 1tb backup block. There's much cheaper than €90 a yr, I use UsenetBucket for my main provider at €4.95 a month comfort bucket (limited to 40mbit which is fine by me saves needing QOS)

    Edit, just checked, my last Astraweb 1tb backup block was paid for in November 2012

    Edit 2, I can't use this with Usenetbucket as they're both Cheapnews (Dutch) resellers.

    Do any of you know if virgin media (formerly UPC) throttles usenet or any similar funny business? I can sometimes max out my connection (22MB/s) but a lot of the time I only get around 2-5MB/s.

    I have subs to several providers that should each be able to max it out on their own

    Are you using ssl and using port 443? I've had the same issue with Eir and Vodafone using no ssl on port 119 but get full speed with ssl as they've no idea what it is.
