    Hi I'm a student gonna be studying computer science in carlow it and I need a new laptop. Just wondering what are people's thoughts on Mac or windows laptops?

    You should check with course supervisor to see what requirements are needed. Might be Windows based

    Also worth keeping in mind that the current Macbooks for sale are long overdue a refresh. Buying now would be a poor choice imo, as you are still paying top dollar for a machine that is a year and a half old.
