First JB Bank payment late?

    Hey,

    I was made part time in work starting from last Thursday (11th aug). So that week we worked Monday Tuesday Wednesday, off Thursday and Friday. This week we worked a full week, and next week we work a 3day week, so on and so forth.

    Went into my local social welfare office on the 11th and signed on for JB. All went fine, was told I'd be paid into my bank account, gave her all my details and that was that.

    Received a letter in the post a week later saying my first payment would be in my bank account yesterday (19th aug) and every Friday after that. However, it stated that my payment would be from the 15th of August, so did I not get anything for the 11th,12th and 13th? Slightly confused.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Contact your local office as a first step. Not sure why you think strangers on the internet would know the answer!

    The first 3 days are waiting days on all claims. While on a casual claim you receive your payment a week behind. The payment day should be Tuesday. The payment for any days due for week ending 17th August will arrive next Tuesday. The only payable days in that week are 15/16/17 for you, for each of the days you didn't work you will receive 1/5 of your full weekly rate entitlement.
