    Watched it there and it fell flat for me - nothing will ever come close to being as good as the cartoon series, but this didn't even come close to the previous live-action attempt.

    I think rewatching the first episode is a good idea. Though I only rewatched after watching the other 5. I know the pilot was kind of a hard watch when I watched originally, but the rest of the series made the whole show a lot more lighthearted. I really enjoyed it.

    Gave it a watch. Thought it was a decent origin story. Didn't know much about the animated show going in though.

    Yeah, I enjoyed it too. I see the 2001 version is also on Prime.

    Won't be for everyone though

    I wasn't sure about the first episode but ended up really enjoying it and was dussappointed it was so short. Thought the
    cliffhanger!!
    at the end was genuine laugh out loud moment too :D

    Just as I finally get around to watching (and enjoying) this, the creator Ben Edlund announced it wouldn't get a 3rd season from Amazon.
