Not sure if this has already been posted (and I am in no way affiliated with either shop). But Mothercare and Mamas and Papas are running in store events.

We went to the Mothercare one last week, we got a goodie bag with some decent vouchers and samples, there was also a talk from a midwife, lactation specialist, first aid and car seat safety. We found it very beneficial. And there was drinks and snacks.

Then last night we went to the Mamas and Papas. It wasn't that busy but there was a great first aid course from the order of Malta and some really great dicounts and vouchers if you were buying anything big. One lady was getting her cot, crib, pram and some other bits, came to over 2K and see got €400 off. They also gave a really cute gift bag with a soft toy.

Both were free to register to.

We did the Mamas and Papas one as we wanted the armadillo flip buggy. Found the order of malta stuff great too.

They do a series of discounts, increasing with bigger spends.

    for E1000 it's the same as E2000, i.e. 20% off or E200
    for E500 it's E75 off and I think E100 it's E10 off.

We split our purchases across two receipts (one in each name for E500 and E1000) to maximise the discount too.

Definitely recommend, especially if you want any of the buggys they sell.
