I'll echo some of the now deleted comments - this is a bridge too far in terms of what can be deemed to be fair criticism in this forum.

Newscasters are mostly young journalists on a pittance practising their reading out loud. It isn't fair if the lion's share of the work they do off-mic is ignored in favour of having a go at their reading out loud.

Not everything on radio needs be cast in a bad light.
