spam email on the name of revenue tax refund

    just want to inform that if you receive an email regarding tax refund make sure it is not spam. i got one today from revenue.client46570 at-the-rate-of taxsaver.ie. It will take you to a website where it will ask you to provide your bank details to refund your tax refund. looks exactly the same as revenue website but if click on any other link on the website then you would realise that it is spam and to steal your details. the website would be h t t p : / / matbordid. is / . ie / tax - form / ie - tax - confirmation / indexa . php

    These are hugely common unfortunately, and Revenue usually have a warning on their website about this.

    However, people still follow through and get caught out
