    I've googled this issue to death and tried 'nearly' everything. I'm sure there is something I haven't.
    I do think it probably is an MMS that hasn't downloaded as I think when I turn on Mobile Data, the message does not appear.

    Now the obvious answer is...turn on Mobile Data, but last month I burned through my data limit with a week to go so that's why it was turned off.

    Is there any way to find the MMS that hasn't downloaded?

    Just go into APN settings and disable anything related to mms - useless scam service tbh.
