Primary schools /gaelscoils application process lucan

    Hi folks,
    . Just wondering can anyone tell me what the protocol is for early enrollment in the local primary schools in lucan please?

    My little one is only 10months but from what I'm hearing lucan us very hard to secure a place that you want. Do I need to put his name down now.
    Do schools have an expression of interest list

    We are very interested in sending him to one of the gaelscoils but they application policies say to apply the November previous? Does anyone know if you can put your child's name down early than that.

    I'm very confused by it as ll any help much appreciated, thanks

    Ring them and ask for a copy of the enrolment policy .
    The Gaelscoil in Leixlip does the same but in Maynooth and Kilcock it is 1st come 1st served and at 10 months you would probably be too late already .
    I prefer the system of applying the year before .

    Shizer, too late at 10months!! I didnt realise competition was so stiff for the schools in lucan. Flipping heck I better get my act together
